Marigny-Brizay
	Marinay-Bizay is a small village just north of Poitiers in western France. Situated slightly above the valley of the river Clain it is the gateway to a region of vineyards lying to to its north and east.  At the heart of this winemaking community lies the Brotherhood of Tire-douzil, who, in their own words- The Brotherhood of Tire-douzil de Marigny was founded in 1953 by a small group of winemakers and wine lovers. She is one of the oldest fraternities in the great western France. Its purpose is to know and appreciate local wines - the wines of Haut-Poitou  and their development and promotion. On June 11th 2010 they held their 57th Chapter where new members were welcomed to the guild and I was present to document a little of the ceremony. The 57th Chapter
